SMART KIDS BOOT CAMP

A hands-on learning process on how to become productive and responsible global citizens in the 21^st century world where the “smarter you are the more competitive you are”.

The Smart Kids Project is implemented by SAGE Nigeria.

Parents who want their children to escape the woes of the youth unemployment crisis in Nigeria.

The 21^st Century Smart kids

 SCHEDULE

Campers spend the day in the classroom and in the field learning about entrepreneurship, technology, leadership, community service and environmental stewardship, hearing guest speakers, and developing their business plans.   Campers get the opportunity of visiting various sites and take a tour of the Money Museum of the Central Bank of Nigeria, television and a radio studio, and participate in various games.

 By the end of the camp, participants develop a business plan, business card, flyer and PowerPoint presentation that they present to a panel of judges who award prizes to the top plans.

Eligibility: Must be 8-18 years

Date: 28^th March -4^th April, 2016

Venue: Funtaj International School,Plot 584,David Jemibewon Crescent , Gudu,off Oladipo  Diya Road ,Abuja

Registration: Deadline is 15^th March, 2016.

Camp Registration fees:

Resident Campers: Resident (or live-in) students stay in Funtaj International School residence halls. Male participants stay in the male residence hall, female participants in the female hall.


The live-in cost for Smart Kids Easter Boot Camp 2016 - N50, 000 covering: tuition, feeding, accommodation, camp materials, tours.
The commuter cost for summer 2016 - N25, 000, covering: tuition, camp materials, and tours.


Commuters Campers: Commuter students attend camps/explorations during the day, but stay off-campus with a friend or family member in the city area during the evenings.
